Heirloom Couture Christening Gowns

Our Story

About Kingdom Gowns

Kingdom Gowns was founded in 2008 by a master artisan in Grand Rapids, Michigan — a master artisan with a lifelong passion for French couture hand-sewing. Every gown is designed and sewn entirely by the same hands, start to finish.

Each heirloom-quality Kingdom Gown is painstakingly hand-sewn to the highest couture standards. Your gown will stand the test of time and be passed down from adult to child for generations to come.

Using the finest silks and cottons available, and fashioned using construction and sewing techniques from the 1500s–1800s, each original one-of-a-kind christening gown represents the very best of past and present.

This care produces a work of art: a gown which is soft, beautiful, durable, and truly unique. Each gown is French-seamed; all trims, pearls, and embellishments are secured by hand. Every order includes a matching slip and bonnet. No two are ever the same.
